Honey and a fact you do not know

The Washington Post published a study on honey, in which it deals with a comparison between it and other honey-like substances, and the difference in the nutritional value it contains and that of honey.

Most people think honey is good for their health, the paper says, but a recently published study found that there was no difference between some sweeteners and honey.

For example, high-fructose corn syrup has been linked to the mentality of some as a major cause of obesity and diabetes, prompting specialists to conduct a deep study between three sweeteners and their long-term effects:

honey, high-fructose corn syrup, and cane sugar, in which blood pressure, insulin, and weight were measured

The percentage of cholesterol and sugar in the blood, and the strange thing is that the result was the same, that is, these three elements gave the same effect, as a change in the percentage of fats in the blood and a disturbance in the heart were observed in the three cases, meaning that honey did not affect me differently, but on the contrary, it gave the same The result.

The newspaper concluded, according to the study, that there is no difference between honey, corn syrup, and cane sugar, and that the percentage of similarity in terms of content is almost identical.

Honey is not a special product as it is believed in the mindset of many.
