Know the benefits of honey and its caveats!

Everyone knows that bee honey is a food item that has great benefits, as it is used in the fields of nutrition, medicine, and cosmetics.

And Hippocrates said: If you want to preserve your youth, you must use honey.

There are other facts about honey that are not known to the majority of people. Honey is a very active substance so eating two tablespoons of it a day is dangerous to health. It is also preferable to eat it in the morning because it contains a high percentage of carbohydrates and sugars, which may cause weight gain if eaten in the evening, for example. But if honey is used in massage, it reduces weight.

Honey contains micro-mineral elements, including vitamins B9, C, and PP, minerals of iron, potassium, fluorine, zinc, and organic acids such as gluconic acid, acetic acid, stearic acid, and citric acid, and formic acid.

All types of honey are beneficial for the body. For example, buckwheat honey helps raise the level of hemoglobin in the blood and improve the functioning of the digestive system and kidneys. As for linden honey, it has anti-bacterial properties and helps in strengthening the heart muscle.

Sunflower hney, is the richest type of honey in vitamin A and helps in treating many heart diseases, asthma, digestive diseases, malaria, and influenza, and improving the condition of hair, skin, and eyesight.

As is well known, every medicine has its benefits and harms, and honey is no exception to this rule. For example, honey should not be placed in boiling water, because in addition to the heat, it destroys all its beneficial properties. By heating it to more than 40 degrees Celsius, the fructose sugar it contains turns into a carcinogen and stimulates the development of cancerous tumors in the digestive system.
