Dr. Mohamed Al-Manisi, Gastroenterology and Liver Consultant at Qasr Al-Ainy, and a member of the Friends of the Liver Society in London, confirms that honey in the morning is beneficial for many problems that a person may suffer from. 

Al-Mansi added, “Put a spoon on a cup of warm water daily and eat it in the morning before eating breakfast and you will feel a significant improvement in the functions of the stomach and output, stressing that honey mixed with warm water helps to get rid of defecation problems represented by chronic constipation, which many suffer from.” 

In addition to its usefulness in regulating bowel movement and digestion in general, which regulates the process of excretion in general, and honey has a great benefit for chest patients, adding it to a cup of warm water is very beneficial. 

The gastroenterologist advises the importance of paying attention to a cup of warm water mixed with a spoon of honey every morning, as it is a habit that avoids many stomach diseases, poor digestion, and excretion, in addition to providing the person with energy and making him healthier throughout the day.
