Benefits of paraffin wax for the skin

What is paraffin wax?

Paraffin wax, which is a mixture and pure mixture of hydrogenated or saturated hydrogen coal and solid, from which chemical alkanes are formed, which are considered to have a

high molecular weight, and are expressed in the following chemical formula (CnH2n + 2), and this wax is prepared from petroleum and pure oil and can also be prepared from stone oil, and it is worth noting that this wax was extracted at the beginning of the fifties of the

the nineteenth century, and it is one of the ancient materials found in the ground, and its extraction was to know how to separate waxy materials from petroleum.

There are many types of paraffin wax and are divided according to the degree of its hardness.

The most famous of them is soft paraffin wax, which is a wax that drips at low pressure, and its boiling point ranges between 76-154 degrees Celsius.

Soft paraffin includes fragile wax that drips from 27-38 degrees Celsius. The percentage of oil in this type ranges between ten Thirty-five, and the other type of paraffin is infiltrative,

which is the wax that is in a solid state when it reaches a temperature estimated at sixteen degrees Celsius, and this type is used in paper and textile industries. Paraffin is the hard wax that is the least oily.

Paraffin wax is characterized by its white color and lack of smell, its melting point ranges between forty-six and sixty-eight degrees Celsius, and its density is about nine hundred cubic kilograms.

Esters, ether, and benzene are among the substances in which paraffin wax melts. It is known that paraffin wax is highly flammable and is classified according to experts. Chemists consider it plastic.
